Echoes 2024 - December

Echoes' December issue has an exclusive interview with veteran UK reggae soundman and record producer Sir Lloyd, telling of his exploits over the years and plans to release new music in 2025. Our other lead reggae article is a tribute to the late South African reggae star Lucky Dube, whose 1989 classic album Prisoner is now reissued by Shanachie Records. This feature is based on an interview I did with Lucky Dube back in the late 90s, during one of his visits to London.

Elsewhere, there are reviews of new albums by Iotosh, King Cruff, Sly Dunbar and an essential Dennis Bovell retrospective called Sufferer Sounds.
